At the airport there will be companies trying to get you to sign up for their own whale watching services, but for me I will always choose this place going forward. It’s a small boat but perfect for more in-depth conversations about whales, Puerto Vallarta’s bay, and just a chance to get to know other people on the boat. My husband and I chose had some scheduling issues (on our part) but we were able to work with Marisel to reschedule which was really helpful! On our boat, there were 4 other passengers plus our guide Marisel and the driver. Right from the start our journey into the bay we saw a baby whale and its mother. You can tell Marisel is very knowledgeable and has a very strong passion and love for whales! Whale Watchers isn’t like a company trying to get your money, but more about sharing their love and knowledge of whales to its guests! Which I absolutely love! You will definitely get wet and possible a little seasick so be prepared for that! We did make a trek out far into the bay for more whale sightings and got to listen to their songs. Beautiful! We did the sunset tour and the sunset out on the water was magnificent! Marisel provided snacks and beverages, took photos for us, and got to know us individually! A very perfect experience that I will not forget and recommend this place for anyone with a love for nature, whales, and unique experiences! I will be back for sure!
